About booking and your visit. If yours is not here, ask us.

Booking and your visit

Mostly no. You book online without paying anything. NHS tests are free if you qualify; the private test and fittings are paid in store. Two appointments are the exception and are paid when you book, in the basket: the dry eye assessment (£45) and the laser eye surgery consultation (£75). If you cancel more than 24 hours ahead we refund either in full; inside 24 hours the dry eye assessment is refunded by half and the laser consultation not at all.

Yes. Pick Dr Patel, Dr Shah or Dr Okafor by name, or choose Any available and we will give you the next appointment with whoever is free. Dr Okafor is with us on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.

Use the link in your confirmation email. Please let us know at least 24 hours before if you cannot come, so we can offer your time to someone else.

An NHS or children's eye test takes 30 minutes and a private test 45. A contact lens fitting is 45 minutes, a dry eye assessment 45, a laser eye surgery consultation 60, and an OCT scan, contact lens aftercare, glasses fitting or repair 15.
