Laser eye surgery consultation

If you are thinking about laser eye surgery or lens surgery, start here. An optometrist takes scans and measurements of your eyes, including the thickness and shape of your cornea, checks your prescription and eye health, and talks through whether surgery is likely to suit you and what the alternatives are. You can ask anything you like, and you are under no pressure to go ahead.

Clearview does not perform surgery. If you decide to go ahead, we refer you to a partner clinic and send them your results.

It takes about an hour and costs £75, which you pay online when you book. If you go on to have surgery through our partner clinic, the £75 is taken off the price. Cancel more than 24 hours before and we refund it in full; inside 24 hours there is no refund. If you wear contact lenses, you will need to leave them out for a period beforehand, so we will tell you how long when you book.

• Your last prescription, if you have it
• A list of any medicines you take
