Private eye test

A longer, unhurried test for everyone, whether or not you qualify for an NHS test. It takes about 45 minutes and includes a digital retinal photograph, so there is a record of the back of your eyes to compare with next time.

You pay £25 in store after your test. There is nothing to pay when you book.

What to bring

• Your glasses and any contact lenses you wear
• Your last prescription, if you have it
• A list of any medicines you take
